Quiet Little Place

In this quiet little place
I can't remember having known a different pace
In this quiet little place
I can surrender to the beauty of its face
And now everything I see
Whether it's an airplane or a tree
It makes me wonder
About the things I must have missed
And the chains around my wrists
They are no longer
In this quiet little place
I can't imagine what it's like to be back home
Where they care about what time it is
And spend their days answering the phone
And now everything I feel
Whether it's fiction or it's real
It's so much clearer
Like the colour of this light
It seems more dangerous and bright
But I don't fear her
And slowly it fades,
I'm back in the race
I have to fight it, I know
I don't want to go away
In this quiet little place
You run your fingers through my hair and whisper "Hey"
And no matter how I try
I can't seem to think of anything better to say

A slender white arm dangled between heaven and earth the rest of the body laid wrapped up white sheets on the small bed. Something did not fit in this seemingly peaceful picture. Tiny drops of blood dripped on the pillow. The raven haired beauty still slept, last night tears soaked her pillow, silent wails of physical and mental pain resulting in a uneasy sleep from exhaustion. Slowly life started to come back to the small form. Groggily she opened her eyes. First thought inside was ’ Fuck It’s morning ‘ Eventually reality dawned on her as a ton of bricks. As hard as she would try that quiet little place in her mind wasn’t real.

Every time a new day starts she dies a little more. Love was supposed to be happy and good not this feeling of dieing. Slowly Pan’s vow came back to her. To have honour had been the only code to live by, determined to be a true warrior she lived by it and now she would die by it.

Life energy built up inside, bit by bit her sanity started to slip away. Slow her trail of thought started to blur before it all became a haze Bra was on her mind. A warrior could not live without his mate. The transformation started to set in. Black became shining gold. A primal scream escaped frail red lips as she rose to the sky. The golden Aura became brighter by the second, after a seemingly endless minute the star fell from the sky

Before Gohan and Goten even felt it, Bra bolted upwards and took of leaving a small crater where the couch had been. Chichi’s face turned white hearing her sons simultaneously let out a desperate wail. Before she made it out of the kitchen they had already left leaving a hole in the roof to witness the hurried exit.

Death, never had she dreamed things would end like this. Silence engulfed her as she saw the empty shell of her former mate lying in a freshly cut field flower field. Shiny black hair lay sprawled in a black halo around her head. Her body rested on a bed of small white flowers. Nothing remained of the feisty woman, just an empty shell. Sinking down on her knees, cries of despairs came from the deepest parts of her soul. Gently she took Pan’s head in her lap and closed her eyes for all eternity. Hunched over Pan’s body she slowly trailed her finger along her face as if she wanted to take a mental picture to never forget this lovely face. The father and Uncle stood a few yards away. They had arrived at the scene a few seconds after the Princess.

Goten just stood there dumbfounded, the world seemed to spin into that little image of the two women who had been like sisters to him. For moment he did not perceive anything but Bra’s shaking body as she grieved. Tears streamed over his face unnoticed. What shook him out of it was his older brother going SSJ and blasting of towards Capsule Corporation.
